| still wide awake. watching it started with a kiss in youtube. it loads more quickly these hours :D
my mum invited my sister and i for a movie this afternoon. we met her in robinsons metroeast around 5 since she just came from
slimmer's world, haha.actually, we walked right up to her. then we met my dad coz he dropped off the car
there so we would have something to use since mum's car is still
getting screwed, haha.and he got a ride from a friend after their meeting.
we watched the prestige. my sister wants that. i wanna watch world trade center. but they said it wasn't all that.
at first you'd get scared and wanna leave. but it's of no horror movie
or a suspense. well a bit a suspense. but you'd get pretty jittery coz
of the 'mystery' thing in it.
but as the story goes on, you'd want more of it. it's like you're
leaving your chair without you really knowing it and getting your face
closer to the screen. that kinda feel.
and in the end, you'd be so freakishly stunned that you wouldn't wanna
leave anymore and you'll just pee on your seat. but we didn't do that,
nah uh. haha.
it's just mystifying but sooooo sooooo awesome. one heck of a movie.
but it still leaves me scratching my head off. wondering "what just happened?".
our halloween party turned out great last 31. more about it here :) (new layout too, haha)

| practice for the upcoming concert yesterday. i just realized...when
the sembreak is over, we only have four more days to go before the day
of the concert. and that's like *snap*.sigh. i still haven't set my
mind yet. i still feel a bit, hmmmm...not up to it.
i was supposed to go with camolla and katrina to the mall of asia but
it'll be quite late for it by then. so carol, regine and i just went to
the nearer mall, haha!
i've listed all the things that needs to be done before the sembreak ends. and i've got 10.

i'm psyched about this halloween thing. haha. we're gonna have our
annual family halloween party and i'm gonna be dressed as a baby,
heehee. last year i went as a mad scientist and the years before that
as a witch, just in different styles, haha!
we got this the prince and me 2 vcd a while ago and no wonder we didn't
know about it til now. the girl(paige) is not julia stiles anymore. some girl
from the pride and prejudice replaced her. it would've been better if
they've kept her though.
i took this quiz in the candy magazine someone brought last
friday(since we had the self contained period the whole day). i forgot
what the title was but it has something to do with 'you' and the 'inner
man' inside of you. what kinda man are you when it comes to girls and
stuff. it's either you're the 'mr. suave' type or the 'mr. friendship'
type or the 'mr. mysterious' type. and i got 22 points so i fall under
the 'mr. mysterious' type. ooh...
if you were to pick among these three songs, which will you choose?
i'll be by edwin mccain, grow old with you by adam sandler or crazy for
this girl by evan and jaron. for me, it's between grow old with you and
crazy for this girl. tough choice, but i picked the latter.
i've seen the music video of chasing cars by the snow patrol
last night. and i'm quite regretting having watched it. i dunno what
ran in
the director's mind when he made that video, to have taken it too
literally and so it ended up to be the worst video i've ever seen. for
such great song, they should have pulled everything outta their sleeves
just to come up with the perfect video that would make the song even
more perfect. but the song still remains under 'the best songs ever
written' for me.
phew, and i've seen here it goes again by ok go and as my sister puts it, "grabe! sobra! ang glng!".

| hey hey hey!
i just got home from school! coz we had this event in ateneo with the theme "kabataan: ano ang magagawa mo para sa inang bayan".
i was with sir jude, ms caluza, kenneth, ate michelle, ate marianne, ate alyssa, ate normae, nikki, miles, nikka, jaiane, kuya jericho and ghio. i thought it was just a half-day event but i kinda guessed it wrong. in the morning, there was this talk and atom araullo and paolo
domondon were the speakers. then there was the open forum where they
answered the questions of the students. there were by the way almost thousands of students from different schools from all over the nation who came. both speakers were totally amazing and to be honest, i think they reached out not just to students like us, but to everyone. their perspective and ideas about the way the youth should serve and love the country were just awe-inspiring. and to my surprise...i was listening the whole time! well, almost! haha.
so then we had breaks and after lunch the quiz bee started. kuya jericho, ghio and i were the representatives who joined. we were competing with 43 schools...43 schools!!! ahhhhhhhhh! before the competition even started, we were just staring at those who were still scanning their books and having last minute reviews. but the three of us? we had the nerves but we acted cool, haha!
there were 10 questions each for the easy, average and difficult rounds. all coming from the philippine, asian and world history and current events. they were excused the whole
day yesterday for their review and since i wasn't around(coz we had our
retreat), i didn't get to study. or even browse a book.
it was nerve-racking at first but we just got our butts out there and had fun. and we had lots of it. more than we could ever imagine. i couldn't tell everything but i'm guessing we were the only ones laughing whether we get it right or not.
and after 3 painstaking hours ... for some but not that much for us,
haha(nothing to do with the questions coz they were definitely hard!) we got the 6th place! out of 43 schools! actually, we were the 5th coz 2 schools tied for the 4th place. i know i know, it might sound as if my head's getting big and all
but i didn't do anything. kuya jericho and ghio were the ones who knew
everything, hahahaha! and i'm just so proud of them, :D. i didn't help at all. i just kept saying, "don't worry, i'm sure they're giving out a month supply of eaji chips for all of us," to boost them up and keep their minds out from tension. coz they were one of the sponsors, heehee. and we would've bagged the 2nd place if we got one, just one difficult question right. and we almost had it...but it's okay with us. there's a bit of that, "sayang!" feeling but who cares? hahaha. we got the 6th/5th place! that's sooooo sooooo awesome! hahahaha!
we were so happy that we played tagged to loosen up and celebrate after the competition, haha. but it feels so goooood...gooood alright! and i'm so glad and so so thankful to Him.

so we had our retreat last thursday and friday. and since i have no right to spill out everything i know, let me just say i had one of the best time of my life. and i wanna go back! the food's great! i'm fat. the evening was simply wondeful and last night...was something, haha. even if the earth shaked a bit.

the results for the 1st trimester just got in. it turned out okay. not what i expected but good. i mean, great, heehee.
